Department of Special Education Punjab organized a one-day consultation workshop for teachers and professionals on November 21, 2023 with the support of British Council Lahore and Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development. Senior and junior teachers and other experts from all fields of Special Education Department and School Education Department participated in the workshop. The purpose of organizing this workshop was to formulate the competency standards of teachers. In order to improve the teaching process in institutions. At the beginning of the session Ms. Saima Saeed Secretary Special Education Punjab emphasized the importance of implementing these standards for positive reforms in institutions. Ms. Saima Saeed while expressing her views said that Pakistan is the only country among other countries which is providing free health and diagnostic services and support equipment to special children on a large scale so that these children can get education like normal children. Expressing her views, She said that it is very welcome that both the departments work together on the education and rehabilitation of these special children in the society
