Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz approves "Special Initiatives For Special Children" to provide better education, transport, training, meals and other facilities in Special Education Institutions.
Medical facilities and assistive devices for special children needing it through health screening of 40 thousand special children has been announced. Chief Minister Punjab has announced "Rising Star Card" for students of Special Education Department, 9 electric disability friendly buses, facial registration in Special Educations Institutes and packed meal program for special students.
