Mr. Shoaib Iqbal Syed, Secretary, Special Education Department Punjab, chaired a review meeting on the progress of the Himmat Card initiative for students with special needs. During the meeting, the Director (P&D), Directorate General of Special Education, Deputy Director (Monitoring), along with representatives from PITB and the Bank of Punjab, briefed the Secretary on the current status, achievements, and ongoing efforts regarding the implementation of the Himmat Card program across Punjab. The meeting also focused on addressing pending issues and ensuring timely facilitation for eligible students.
