Mr. Shoaib Iqbal Syed, Secretary, Special Education Department, Punjab, chaired the second review meeting of FY 2026–27 on the ongoing Maintenance & Repair (M&R) works of Special Education institutions of District Lahore. During the meeting, Mr. Zahid Majeed, Director (P&D), Directorate General of Special Education, briefed the Secretary on the progress of the ongoing M&R works and the status of key maintenance activities. The meeting was attended by the Executive Engineer, Buildings Division-I, Lahore, the District Education Officer (Special Education), Lahore, and the concerned Principals. The Secretary reviewed the progress of the ongoing works and discussed key matters, including window designs, safety grills, parking sheds, and other institution-specific requirements. The Secretary directed the executing agency to complete all M&R works by August 2026 in accordance with the approved standards and specifications. The concerned Principals were further directed to maintain cleanliness and regularly monitor the quality and progress of the ongoing works to ensure their timely completion.
