Mr. Shoaib Iqbal Syed, Secretary, Special Education Department, Punjab, chaired a review meeting with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) to assess the successful completion of the Surveillance Camera Project – Phase I and review the implementation strategy for Phase II. During the meeting, the Secretary directed PITB to enhance the surveillance system by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based monitoring capabilities. He emphasized the incorporation of smart AI prompts capable of detecting unauthorized access, suspicious movements, and other unusual activities after school hours.
