A delegation from UNICEF, lead by Mr. Kamran Iftikhar, Education Manager, along with team of AWF Pvt. Limited, a consultancy firm hired to conduct an institutional and capacity assessment of Special Education Institutions in Punjab, briefed the Secretary Special Education regarding the timelines of the work plan. Ms. Shahida Farrukh Naveed, Director General Special Education, Mr. Zahid Majeed, Director Planning & Development, Ms. Khaula Minhas, Deputy Director Curriculum, and Ms. Azmat Tahira, Section Officer Special Education, attended the briefing session. This activity will help the Special Education Department make informed decisions about strengthening educational provisions for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Punjab.
