Rana Muhammad Saleem, DG Special Education, chaired a progress review meeting on the TALEEM Program, funded by GPE and UNICEF. The Education Manager gave a detailed presentation on the activities and components executed. The Chair appreciated the progress made in providing a total number of 10,311 assistive devices including 2500 spectacle 80 electric wheelchair 80 CP chairs 400 elbow crutches 300 walkers 500 white canes 350 Manual wheel chairs and 7701 hearing aid. The provision of glasses is currently in progress, and the remaining assistive devices will be distributed soon.
