Following is the eligibility criteria for admission in institutions of Special Education:
- Candidate should be aging from 4 to 9 years for the admission in nursery class
- Written test/interview would be prescribed by the principal/headmaster for the admission in class 1 to 5, class 7 and class 8
- Certificate of passing for class 5 and class 8 would be required for the admission in class 9 and class 10
- Certificate of matriculation and FA/post matriculation diploma would be required for the admission in 1st year and 3rd year classes, respectively
- Maximum age would be from 22 and 25 years for the admission in 1st year and 3rd year classes, respectively
- Age relaxation would be from 2 to 5 years for the admission in 1st year and 3rd year classes
- Marks sheet of 1st year issued by the BISE would be required for the admission in 2nd year and 4th year classes
- Candidate should be aging from 5 to 14 years for the admission in Institutions of Mentally Retarded Children
- Candidate should be aging from 5 to 10 years for the admission in Institutions of Slow Learners Children
- IQ level of children should be in the range of 70-95 for the admission in Institutions of Slow Learners Children
Following documents are required for admission in institutions of Special Education:
- Copy of birth certificate
- Copy of the CNIC of father/guardian
- Copy of the CNIC of student (if applicable)
- Copy of domicile (if applicable)
- Copy of academic certificates (if applicable)
- N.O.C (if applicable)
- School leaving certificate (if applicable)
